Totally dedicated to providing girls who love horses, real fashion alternatives to traditional and conservative equestrian wear. giddyupgirl is known as the Billabong for the Horse Lover!

giddyupgirl is the inspiration of mother of three, Tammy. While watching her (then) 13-year old horse-crazy daughter at Horse Training Camp, Tammy realised there wasn't an edgy fashion label dedicated to young girls and teens with a passion for horses - most girls were wearing surf brands! After the class, Tammy chatted to the horse-loving girls about the idea of a funky fashion label especially for them. Receiving a passionate reaction to the concept, Tammy started researching her idea that afternoon.

With over 15 years as an international model (including being TV Hostess on the game show Say G'Day with Greg Evans) and working in the fashion wholesale and retail markets including Esprit and Lisa Ho, Tammy quickly developed her launch range of premium products and hit the market in May 2004. Initially distributed via the www.giddyupgirl.com.au web site and a small selection of stores, many of giddyupgirl product lines were sold out in just six weeks. Tammy realized she had a winning idea.

The label is different as it has real horsey integrity without compromising fashion, fun and comfort.

The label is designed for young girls 6-11 years and teens 12-18 years. Tammy's research revealed the teenage market was screaming out for some edgy horsey fashion with young girls wanting everyone to know how much they loved their horses without compromising on up to the minute fashion concepts. Tammy has also found her teenage range was selling to the groovy horsey 25+ age group so she has launched the giddyup line to cater for the more mature horse lover, again not compromising on fashion flair.

The current range includes t-shirts, polo shirts, tank tops, hoodies, caps, helmets, boots, chaps and accessories including, charm bracelets, pencil cases, mobile phone arm bands, saddle and bridle bags and plaiting aprons. Teenagers with horsey attitude can choose items including the "Too Cool For Riding School" Castro cap and it's signature tee, Get Bucked.

The giddyupgirl label is currently distributed through approx 100 stores throughout Australia and is a preffered supplier for the Horseland and Saddleworld Chains. We also have distributors in the USA, Belgium, Holland, UK and France.

The giddupgirl.com web site is a hive of activity with over 980,000 unique visitors since its launch. The feedback link runs hot with comments like:
